Cape Town to London

This is the photographic journal of Em and Niels. Following a stint managing Jack's Camp in Botswana, we have set off home to the UK, overland.

The planned route will take us up Africa's East Coast and into Europe. Roughly 10,000 miles of tinny music, Supernoodles and dusty roads.

Armed with our trusty 'cruiser Rat-face and little else, we hope to make it back in five months and raise money for two charities. We can't navigate by the stars, light a fire with sticks or replace the head gasket with a leatherman; if we're honest, we can barely work the GPS so we're placing a huge amount of trust in our inanimate lump of metal.
